Dr NG Pak Tee
Pak Tee NG is a Singaporean educator who is committed to the development of educational leaders. After graduating from Cambridge University, he served as a Mathematics teacher and a Ministry of Education officer, before joining the National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University, as an academic. At the NIE, he has served as Associate Dean of Leadership Learning and Head of the Policy and Leadership Studies Academic Group.
Pak Tee’s main work is in education change and leadership. He has published extensively in these areas and has served as the editor/associate editor/board member of a number of international referred journals. He is the co-editor of the Routledge Leading Change book series. One of his books, “Learning from Singapore: The Power of Paradoxes”, is a Routledge best-seller. He has delivered numerous keynote speeches around the world, including a recent one at the Google Global Education Symposium.
Pak Tee was conferred the National Day Award of Public Administration Medal (Bronze) for merit and service to education. He has also won various awards for excellence in teaching. He believes that education is the human enterprise of paying it forward, and as such, encourages educators worldwide to share their knowledge and experience, to build a better tomorrow.
